Navigate to the Speco in paragon
In command line Type BLTREF /MSBBN
Unless this is an AVEV supplied spec from MASTER, in which case you cannot change it

Generally speaking in PDMS there is often more than one way to do lots of things, none of which can be said to be "right" or "wrong"
It does not matter which method is used as long as the result is correct.

hi Pitch
i used the method
"Navigate to the Speco in paragon
In command line Type BLTREF /MSBBN"
is it required to reselect flanges & valves?
as i am getting same bolt length after changing to /MSBBN.

There is no need to reselect.
You did however say you were changing the Bolt TYPE not length.
The length depends on the SBOLs in the MBOL
