    Hmmmm,

it's quite easy: the STAR  in */JJRXABEHH-JJCZAM is a placeholder for the SPEC NAME.

This can be used in all PDMS module using the STAR command:

    STAR /VIDI

solves the issue discussed in this thread.

Another example might be in DESIGN:

    NEW EQUI /12E3456
    STAR /12E3456
    NEW NOZZ */N1
    NEW NOZZ */N2
    ....

    This is functionality in SPECON:

REMOVE */.... shifts the SPECOM to Limbospec, DELETE really deletes the SPECOM

See SPECON manual for further details

    [QUOTE=duchungktd;65235]Thank everyone for your reply!

I do like your guide, but I still can not delete SPCO in Specon module.

    I am reading specon manual!
And I do not know why It did not work like the manual said:

have you tried a way which Prashant suggest?
Tyr that. if It is also fail then...
as per PDMSELDER said.. ask Support from Aveva.

Check if you have write access to the SPCO....Q DBWRITE....if its true then you should be able to delete it...if not then you are trying to delete a readonly element.
