i understand. But from many years experience with catalogue i don´t think it will be so simply. You can create macro to simplify spec creation process, but macro for creating specs just by settings some options is just for medium undemanding on calculations, or some general or dummy specifications for basic project or for project start, when you don´t have detail specifications basis on data from technologist and material management department.
Big companies have large material management SW connected with PDMS catalogue, which took long and expensive development - on real projects it is not so easy ... You
