Dear Friend,

In old bolting method you need to give bolt reference to every spco.

And you need give standard bolt length and extra length also, in SBOLT.

But in new bolting method you need to give blrfarray reference in catalogue. and flange thickness need to be set as RPRO Attribute( FLTH).

And you need to create new bolt spec.

In piping spec you need to set bolting method as new and set bolting spec( bolt spec name).

In new bolting method only extra bolt length is enough. In this method it will call the thickness of flange or fit length of wafer components and it adds extra length which you have given in sbolt, after that it will check the nearest value in bolt length table and it will populate in isometric.

Flange thickness does not NEED to be set as RPRO Attribute( FLTH).
That is just one of the options available.

Using Datasets for bolt thickness can create a problem when allocating Bolts for items with different bolt requirements at each end, eg Relief Valves.

You only need to set the BSEL in design when you do not want the default bolt to be used
