One of our moderators JCont20 had an idea to start this new section named "Lessons Learned" and I really do not know why we never had it before. We talked today and decided to build a section specifically for Error codes and Troubleshooting so here it is.
This is the reason we have moderators...These guys think of everything.
Would you please spend sometime read existing posts and probably PDMS manauls.
Your questions are always welcome, but it is a lot of work for moderators to answer the same questions over and over again and try to clean up threads. Unlike other forums we do not put restriction on new users/vistors and you do not have to respond to post before being able to read.
So thank you, all the new users for visiting and contributing, but PLEASE RTFM first.
PDMSworld would rather have 1,000 quality posts then 10,000 ones with repeated questions.
And yes, we will be working on FAQ section for each forum when we have time. So if anyone wants to scan the posts and compile a FAQ please let me know.
I´m always surprised that 70 % of the questions/answers are being taught in the basic training courses or in the special courses by AVEVA.
Followed by the last bits that are in the thirtysomething manuals. Some of them could be better, i admit that, but a lot of them are fine and easy...accessable by EACH Aveva customer. It´s just reading ;-)
sorry if this sound arrogant, but sometimes TO many low level questions can really take a forum down, so I totally agree with de_ding
(like the classic in hardware forums: "Which PC would you recommend?"
the 191 cannot run %1 in windows NT Mode is a microsoft error message
In pdms 191 & 191 are laser module errors
The list I have just repeats your original error message
191,801 - LMI acquire licence failed
So it appears you have a licence problem
