There is a thread I started on 503 errors. We found it was two users (or processes) trying to write too much data back to the db, Aveva dont have a solution to this, so we split the db so each user/process wrote to one db only.
We also found if the Daemon is writing to the db at the same time it can cause a problem if it is for a large amount of data.
