Database error 523

 

Check the Dice report for all databases primary at your location. Its very necessary to have a dice job running every night to keep track of database status. Most of the time error 523 is not on the db shown in the console. Repair any fatal dbs. This will resolve your issue.

1. what is dice report and how can I have it?
2. I need a guide to help me recognize[/U] PDMS errors and also the solution for each error.
3. by "Repair any fatal dbs", do you mean use reconfig for dbs?

Admin-->Utilities-->Integrity Checker.

Select a DB or Select a Project for Intergrity.While Cheking Don't on Attempt to Patch Database Problems.

If any Fatal Errors are there try with Attempt to Patch Database Problems On.After this Not solved then goto Reconfigure with Sameref.
