Problem running PDMS 11.6 in window 7

I got a "FLEXlm error -8,544" when I run PDMS.  What was the solution?

-8 Invalid (inconsistent) license key or signature.
The license key/signature and data for the feature do not match. This usually happens when a license file has been altered.

That's an easy one. You are running on a virtual machine and not connected to the root console

Also had same problem with vista,but it's now working perfectly on XP.

does xpm require PDMS license on machine itself where the xpm is running?

AVEVA is having policy that PDMS can not run in citrix and remote desktop mode.
