I've been given a model that is currently at 11.2.2 on IRIX 6.5 and I need to upgrade to windows and PDMS 12.
I cannot remember the process of transferring this to windows initially, the upgrades after that I'm okay with, any ideas?
I guess you will have to involve Aveva with the upgrade which will come at a cost.
Did you try opening the model in 11.6 first? Between 11.x and 11.6 there was no Database change.

Yar_nl,
There may have been no DB change, but there was an OS change from UNIX at 11.2.2.to Windows at 11.3.
pirate,
What you need to do is contact AVEVA for a copy of 11.3 and 11.6. I think 11.3 may be able to run on Windows 2000, if not, you need to find a Windows NT machine and upgrade your project to 11.3. Then from there you can upgrade from 11.3 to 11.6. After you upgrade to 11.6 you can upgrade to 12.0.
7.2 Upgrading from Version 11.2 to Version 11.3SP1
There are automated procedures for upgrading projects from PDMS 11.2
to PDMS 11.3SP1. You only need to set the upgrade environment
variables as described in Section 7.2, and run the supplied upgrade script.
The upgrade script is written in Perl, and the correct version of the Perl
system is supplied with PDMS as a sub-directory in the directory
containing the upgrade scripts. This is run independently of any other
version of Perl which you may have installed.
