Required inofrmation on high end PDMS database server specification

Dear All,

I have to set PDMS database server, for 100 plus users at a time, at least 4 PDMS projects running simultaneously with maximum database size & also will be used for global projects. Can anybody please guide me for the high end PDMS database server specification. Also wanted to know whether PDMS speed is depending on server specification OR workstation specification.

Usually Aveva Prefers Deployment on Clients Only.

If Installation is on client the performance will come down.

PDMS Database (Project) Server it's just a data storage.
So graphic card is not an issue...

If you are asking for server specs, it's your choice. Performance versus budget.
If budget is not a problem, then heres my opinion:
Processor: Intel Core i7, 3.0+ GHz
O.S. : Windows 7 64-bit
Memory: 12+ GB RAM
Network Adapter: 1+ GB Full Duplex
Hard Disk: 500+ GB, SSD
Graphic Card: NVIDIA Quadro Series[/FONT][/SIZE]

Graphic card is required for PDMS database server, if it is required then which series of NVIDIA Quadro will be the better option.

Ohh, yah, sorry, graphic card is not necessary for servers.
