Can't use my mouse wheel to rotate, pan etc..

I can't figure out why the mouse wheel won't work on the PDMS graphic windows. I checked the Nvidia graphic card settings. The wheel works okay on word documents. I got an IT guy working it, but was wondering if anybody else has come across this problem and knows how to fix it. I just loaded PDMS on this machine (XP) and everything else seems to be working fine.

Click on emty place of PDMS screen by right buttom of mouse and choose first line of menu. Than choose what you want to use middle button (wheel) of mouse.

Thank you, but that didn't help. The problem is, is that the middle but won't work at all in the PDMS window.

It happend to me, that some PCs have got a new installation (configuration),
done through the night by the IT.:angry:
Have you check at Windows, the mouse settings?

By reinstalling PDMS it will work

I had to set the mouse so that middle button is set to "Middle Button" in windows

 

This is a solution for the IBM Leveno Desktops
 with a regular mouse with a wheel.


Goto to the location where the mouse driver unpacked the software.
i.e. C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\MOUSE\q1mie08us13
Install the mouse software by running the Setup.exe.

Once the mouse software is installed,
Click on the mouse icon on the startup toolbar.

Set the Wheel to "Use Microsoft Office 97 Scrolling Emulation Only"
