hi,

We have been using Global in one of our project. Since last friday, 3 of our PC in remote location cannot log-in on that project and encounters an error when it log in.

Unable to open DB Communication DB, PNS:PRivileges not sufficient

The rest of the PC in remote location can connect without an error. By the way, PDMS setting are all the same including the 3 PC.

Anybody familiar with that error?

This is almost always coming when the Windows access rights are not sufficent on the PDMS project folder.

Also try to stop and restart the global daemon. Sometimes the daemon may lock some PDMS files.

It worked.

We checked the DB folder and the user was  included on the group with limited permission. We asked our System person to create a new group with extended permission so that the we can freely access the Project DB folder.
