FATAL Error for one SITE While extracting Draft

  • Check your drawlist.
It could contain elements with problems.
For example if you read your warnings from DICE:

    Element =27711/51206
Warning- Attribute SIGREF contains invalid ref =19519/224225

That element =27711/51206 has a missing reference.
It could be that database 19519 is not in the MDB anymore and so all the pointers to it has been "lost"
Database number is calculated like this: 19519-8192-8192=3135
  • You can do a TRACE to see what element and attribute it fails at.

  • What elements added in drawlist?
check size of drawlist it may be exceeding.
  • Hi Matrix,

I added only one site ......... Which contains  few structural elements like a small Pipe rack , handrails , platforms and few foundations....I don't think so, only because of these few elements it's going to create problem.... I already extracted draft layout drawings for sizes more than this......... in the same project

    Regards,
    Naresh
  • If I am not wrong, in the past I had a problem with drawlists containing 0 length SCTN elements.
Try collecting and then deleting SCTN with CUTL EQ 0
  • Collect sections in site?
and use mcount to count sections, if it is more than 8000 then probably that will cause error.
Have you added that site in other drawlists which u already drafted?
  • The reason for getting Splash Error sometimes is: loss of connection. So you will need to check that as well. Also, did you try it at other machines and does it fetch the same result?
  • Hi All , Thanks for your kind reply.........

    Matrix,

The sctn's are not more than 500.

    Corrado,

There is only one SCTN with CUTL EQ 0 , I deleted it and still the same problem.

    and

    Shri,

    I checked with 4 machines................

    Regards,
    Naresh
