Tooltips missing

Check if View-->Settings-->Show Tooltips is ticked.....

Which graphic card do you have?
And which PDMS version (Q BANN on the command line)?

Can anyone help me? The tooltips are missing when I hover over a component.

Searched for solutions on this forum but not of any help.

I already tried that with both ticking and untick. Any other solutions? Reinstalling PDMS does not work as well

A small revive to this thread:.. I do get my description when hovering on the hierarchy and design elements.. But i still kinda expect the information to pick up the dtxr, or

E3D has ability to display a tooltip over any item with predefined and use-defined text. you can ut anything DTXR, MTXX etc. It is possible in 3d window

There's a form in the admin tab but usually there's a defaults file which can be stored on the network

Yes it is a file which you put in dflts folder ans share for all working in project

file named TooltipRules.xml basically stored s in ...\E3D1.1.0\Data1.1.0\DFLTS and can be placed to network PDMSDFLTS for share. Edit in a way you need
