Selection most suitable Point on formed object

You could get the coordinates of the required (graphical) point: HOME Tab-->Measure-->Position
Then you can copy/paste them into Equipment Origin-->Equipment Explicit

Hi guys

Is there any trick& tips which help me to select equipment or structual formed objects' ID point ?

I am having trouble to select ID point especially converted object used MEI import.

For example converted equipment does not allow me to pick point when ı use to reselect equipment origin > equipment ID point.

Is there any way or any macro tools ?
