Welcome To DriverWeb (Please Read Me First)

The DriverWeb is a forum system that has been setup to deal with all things in regards to Citect drivers. This is an open public forum and as such is NOT a support service and is NOT formally monitored by Citect Staff. The driver team will post updates to drivers and may answer some questions, but there is NO guarantee of this. For a guaranteed reply, please contact your support or sales channel.

The following picture shows the first part of the DriverWeb. It starts with Announcements which are information posts that automatically created whenever a new driver is placed on the forum. They disappear automatically after 1 month. Immediately following these are the Notices (like the one you are reading now) that contain important information on the DriverWeb Forums and the tools we have made available.

Given the large number of Citect Drivers that are available, we have setup a number of Driver Groups that each contain individual SubForums for every driver. You are welcome to create your own threads or reply to existing threads in these forums in order to share information with the greater Citect community. Citect does of course reserve the right to moderate these.

  • For convenience, we have arranged the individual driver forums into several Driver Groups based generally around their support and availability
    Citect Drivers - Current
All actively supported Citect Drivers (Note : May include Third Party developed drivers that we actively support. See "The ### Driver" post in the appropriate SubForum for information regarding possible Purchase or Support costs)

    Citect Drivers - Special
These are primarily driver transport layers that are used by other Citect Drivers

    Citect Drivers - Other
These drivers may be obsolete and have more appropriate replacements. They may have never been through a complete QA process and have not been officially released. They are not officially supported unless special arrangements have been made.

    Third Party Drivers For Citect
These are Citect Drivers that we know of that have been written independently. Please contact the manufacturer for availability, pricing and support.

We have also made two other Forums available. One is a place to share information on third-party OPC Servers and the other is available fopr you to post any other questions, suggestions or requests.
    Information on OPC Servers
Assorted information on OPC Servers that people have used with CitectSCADA

    General
Please feel free to post anything in here that relates to drivers (eg: Requests for drivers, Information on Thirdy-Party developed drivers, Information on OPC Servers, etc)
