I would like to read some ION7700 devices, but using ION protocol, because I want to keep ENTERPRISE running. Do you know if citect has an ION driver??

CitectSCADA does not have an ION driver. However, there is another option to consider. I believe the ION device can support communications via both the modbus and ION protocols simultaneously (on different com interfaces, or both on the TCP interface if available). Therefore you should be able to use the Modbus protocol to communicate with CitectSCADA and ION protocol to communicate with ION:Enterprise. The modbus protocol interface to ION meters does not support all the features of the ION protocol (i.e. no waveform downloads), so it depends on the needs of the SCADA customer as to whether the Modbus interface mets their functionality requirements.
