This Citect Database Drivers installation was designed to provide a specific, matched set of third party drivers to support Citect's ODBC functionality. Installation of these components should help resolve the ODBC issues that are currently known to affect Citect.
The installation contained in this zip file can also be found on Citect v5.21 CD's in the Citectv5CitectDB directory.
Citect Database Drivers will install the following components on your system: - Microsoft DCOM 1.2 for Windows 95. (http://www.microsoft.com/com) - Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.1. (http://www.microsoft.com/data) - Borland Database Engine (BDE) 5.01. (http://www.borland.com/bde)
NOTE: The Citect Database Drivers installation will not copy a component to your system if a newer version of the file is already installed. Each of the included components was the most current version available at the time of release (June 1999).
These components are not developed or supported by Citect, however CitectSCADA's functionality has been fully tested with these components installed.
