Hello All, I am Steve Cavanagh.

I work as an Automated Systems Engineer for AstraZeneca who develop, manufacture and market pharmaceutical products.

We currently have a PI System that is going to be expanded further and ‘shared’ with more departments within the company.

My department has plans to integrate PI as part of an automated system control architecture in a plant upgrade. This will enable the use of newly developed processing equipment that requires faster data collection than our current historian can offer along with predicted/calculated data attributes offered with SIMATIC SIPAT too.
