KOH Water Solution - Critical Properties

Good Afternoon. I would like to do a quick check of critical props fro a KOH water solution. I have tried some electrolyte models (according the Manual recommendations) but without success. Please, could you suggest the required steps to achieve to represent a stream at ambient conditions 50% KOH solution? Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Rosa, you said that you have tried some electrolyte models.  I assume that you have a license for PRO/II Electrolyte (it is an add-on).  If you have, could you please e-mail  SM US Houston SimSci Technical support  support.simsci@aveva.com   the simulation file that you are trying so they can see it and guide you better?  If you do not have a license of PRO/II Electrolyte, contact your account manager and obtain one.  PRO/II Electrolyte is an addon to the license.  In addition there is a OLI Full Databank that contains more properties.   Depending on the properties that you are looking for, you may need this second additional license.
