Who am I?
My name is Jochen Steimel and I am an architect and a product owner for AVEVA Process Simulation. I just recently stumbled upon this community and saw that it was a bit deserted. I found that a pity and hope that we can restore interesting discussions about process simulation in AVEVA Process Simulation that are not well suited for the software support team.
I have a background in chemical engineering and worked with an owner-operator company for several years before joining AVEVA, with a strong focus on process simulation tools.
Nowadays, I work with the R&D team to formalize specifications, to drive architectural prototypes and to help team members understand business requirements better.

If you have any questions about why things are the way they are in APS, or just want to ask some specific questions, feel free to post in this forum again. Please also reach out to others in your companies and let them know that there is someone on the other side of this line, who just waits to start open discussions about AVEVA Process Simulation.
