You gotta buy or rent it from aveva...it brings stuff in as POHE etc..

what do you want to know about gridlines?

try to use 'utilities' - 'reference data'..

You should check on the tutorial and manuals that come with your PDMS installation. The structural module manual has step by step examples and should be enough to get started.

There's a new Mechanical Equipment Interface for PDMS 12.0.SP5 onwards - it can read a STEP file directly into PDMS, where it's stored in a new primitive.

Yes,maxon is right. If you want to add gridline,you have to go to utilities-reference data and then Reference Definition Application form will come out. In there, you go to creat-gridline-area where to bulid your grid line. And then if you want to tag on gridline, you go to Graphic-Tag Gridline. Cheers!

Can somebody tell me how to import a .DXF file extracted from RISA to PDMS?

You can use AVEVA Implant-A to create a PDMS macro from your DXF.  I assume you are talking 3D, not 2D.
