Hi everyone!
I'm new in Aveva enviroment, and thing that overwhelms me, is lack of sketching mode in 2019. For someone using Inventor, Solidworks and so on, lack of such basic feature in Outfitting module, where we model foundations, rallings and so on is just unintelligible! Things, such as modeling single plate with trapezoidal holes, which in inventor takes 2-3 minutes, in PDMS/Outfitting takes half an hour! Is it possible to at least write an addin for extruding and revolving things, or the only way to create plates, cylinders and so on is to enter coordinates by hand? xD Aveva takes a lot of money for software, which in functionalities in many cases is still in max. early 80'... Remember, even damn Hypermesh or Femap have sketching mode :miserable:
