Is it flanged on one side and plain on the other side?
Do you confirm you buy a piece of pipe with  pre-welded flanges as it would be one component?
If yes, I stay on my position. It has to be a FTUB. Easy.

    To me, It doesn't matter.
It is not "bulk" material. It is a proper component.
If this is a major problem for your customer, you could think about changing the material list group heading from "FITTINGS" to something like "FITTINGS & SPECIAL PIPES" ;-)

It is a component. It is a sort of very-very-long welding-neck flange :-))
    Simple and easy.
    Set the BLTREF.
COCO on the P-Point on the flanged side will be something like FBB

Now i think I have given you enough tips.....it is time to stop for me......otherwise Aveva will send you the invoice for my consultancy... ;-)
