Failed To open MDB/XXX

Hi all,


I have a project source which is copied from Client, they ask to do a modification job and require update to 3D model.
I can access to Admin module with user SYSTEM/XXXXXX and able to change anything, but when trying access to Design module is still get Error : "FAILED TO OPEN MDB / xxx - SWITCH TO MONITOR".
Only one way to open Design is check in "READ ONLY" check box, then unable to edit anything in Design module.
I have tried any way but it's still not fixed.
Anyone know what happen & how to fix it ?

Please check if your MDB contains Design DB.

Sure that contains Design DB. I want to update Design but can not, because I have to check in "Read Only" box to access Design module.

There must me Master DB files are missing then.
Go to the ADMIN module and check q filename for each DB (You can run report) and check whether all files are available or not at the location.

may be because of missing files while downloading . if the project is transferred  thorough  ftp  or .win RAR some time it will miss some file or not will extract exact size .so check the  total number of file and size with with client .

 

Hello! Can You open other MDB's? Why don't You run check on all design DB's? Or check user rights or other restriction other admin created. If You already done everything, I would create new MDB and added DB's one by one a saw what is the issue, but this is the last option. Good luck.

I have created a new MDB included existing DB DESI, but still got that error.

delete the MDB and create a fresh one with same details.

That is not the Console window....
Please post a picture of the Console Windows.
The reason of your error will be most probably there...
