I do not think it is possible to have an automatic selection.
Users could do it explicitly by setting the BSEL attribute of flanged components.
And Bolt specs have to be created accordingly by having a BSEL selector in their Heading.
BTSE for LJSE it's not needed to be set and the message should remain. PDMS calculates bolts length from flange to flange (which must have BTSE set). If we put BTSE for LJSE the bolts couldn't be calculated.
You are right about this. Sorry. My mistake! I got confused.

But I have another issue.
I need somehow to make possible that PDMS choose between STUD and HEXAGONAL bolts depending of the length. I need to choose, for example, for M24 I have to use stud bolts if the length is greater than 240mm, and if it is less than 240mm I need to choose hexagonal.
I'm not sure how to do it to make PDMS to choose this automatically.
Help anyone, or some idea.
I have manage to get selection between STUD and MACH using BSEL (flange BSEL must be set too) but with this way designer has to set flange BSEL manually. I'm not sure if it is possible to achieve it using UDA's
