Fatal SPLASH Error

Hi everyone,

I am receiving the following error when I try to open an existing sheet in Draft :

Error in SPLASH routine HGETIA Area : 'Draft Area' Error: 8 NWD NWDS is negative
Fatal error detected by SPLASH forcing to return to MONITOR module

Could someone help me please?!

You've almost certainly got a corrupt picture file - delete it (manually) & recreate by UPDATE PIC, UPDATE DESI, & SAVEWORK. To determine the file name do a Q PICFILE at the Sheet element.

Sometimes it causes by wrong fonts-setting.
Check it in ADMIN module

Yes correct, when you use the Draft libraries from the Master Project there is a reference to 2 TT fonts.
In Admin there is normally just 1. You have to add a TT font (doesn't matter which)

or how to know which file is corrupted

So long as you know the Sheet that is causing the trouble you can determine the file to delete by Q PICFILE.
Do not delete all the folders in XXXpic.
