Advanced Bill of quantity for steel sections in draft

For sure this is a one of the often faced questions.
You can create elevation plans for steel costructions and tag them (using labeling)
for the BOM it should be realised first what kind of BOM (header) you need. In most cases it is additional PML developent required t oplace customised table on drawing

brand new in pdms admin, i was asked to create 2D drawing for élévation section drawing including an unique tag per steel beams and associated summary table bom With section type, weight ...
We have about 60 drawings to produce, i'm looking for the best solutions.

Did any of you hâve face this situation?

I have wrote several PML programs for BOM for different disciplines.
Unfrotunately they are project specific and could not be shared without preliminary analyse of your data and some customisations for your conditions

if you give me details of BOM header and conditions for sorting I can try to help. Please send me email in this case

and one more thing. Where does Beam type store in?

Section drawings are Okay, Auto labeling can also be done, unfortunately i do not have know how in PML, but you are talking about Customised Table. How are you doing that?

thanks Ruav, but i do not have your email ( can not find on the site), by the way, the Beam type are CATREF of SPREF, MATREF for the materia, and NWEI for weight.
