Hello! If I understood You good You can create UDET ( user defined attribute type) for different type of equipment. In Your case UDET :PUMP and UDET :VESS. They need to be created in lexicon and base type should be EQUI. When You create equipment in design module, position on equipment that is pump and write CHANGETYPE TO :PUMP, then attribute of ACTTYPE of that equipment will become :PUMP and You will have that prefix in front of Equipment name in design three. Second thing You should do is also in Lexicon to create UDA that You want on that pump and in base type field of UDA properties You should add :PUMP. In that way when Your equipment changes it's ACTTYPE to :PUMP it will automatically have the attribute You created only for that type. Hope it's clear and this is close to what You need.
