You can have as many cuts as you like using variable cuts-variable angle-variable radius bends.
Just change NCUTS attribute at BEND level once in Design module.

That's the way it works.

They are "special" components with no geometry set.

Interesting, I don't recall ever using mitre bend on E3D...But, E3D really draw them

I am certainly going to investigate how this work.
