I created all required catalogs for piping components that have ring type joint facing. I took the overall length for valves from face to face (Ring groove is included).
My question is:
What thickness of the ring gasket shall i use for these components? I think 0 mm is not the right choice.
Note: for example I selected R47 gasket for my 6'' valves #2500 RTJ. In this case the gasket will disappear in the groove after bolting.
shall i use the distance between flanges (4 mm for my example) as a gasket thickness?

To me it should be ZERO.
Anyway, it depends on where you created P-Point 1 on the flange...
