You can read C:\AVEVA\Plant\PDMS12.0.SP6\Manuals\Docs\Pipework Design User Guide.pdf Chapter 12.3.5 Piping Assembly Component Rules.

Among other things it says: Positioning - DIST 200 FROM PREV

Same manual, same chapter as above.
You can create "Selection Rules".
I.e. SEL WITH PBOR3 20

Is there a way to "FORCE" the Tee Piece in such assemblies, ie default it to an e.g YYmmx20mm tee-Piece. In other words users are not given the option to select the Tee Piece from the Catalog and hence make selection errors ?

Hi to all
since its regarding Assemblies,am appedning here only..

1.When we create a specification,we dnt create any an Assemblies but by default it appear in Piping Component for with few standards Assemblies?I want to know how its loading defaults for all spec at all bore sizes?
2.When we create an Assemblies by Copy Design option, its allowing me to copy only one element,I have tried on branch its not succeded, how to do it,because its the easiest way to do?
Have you tried this, Corrado? As attached does not seem to do the trick for us.
In addition, How would you define two selection? "SEL WITH PPBOR3 20 and STYPE T" ? or "SEL WITH PPBOR3 20 and SEL WITH STYPE T" ?

I am sorry sconvens....
I thought it would have been straightforward....but it is not! :-(

I will meditate about that.....and if I will find a solution I will come back to you....

1. PDMS scans for all APPLDW with Purpose equal to PASY
2. Multiple select first in your 3D window, then press "Copy Design" button
