Atish, sorry but I have never seen this error before.
My suggestion is to install the latest fix, and even better, if you can, I would install the latest SP6...
What is apparent is that PDMS is crashing when you perform a certain task.
It's probably helpful if you can determine if it is a single machine that is having the problem when you are performing the task or if it is every machine currently in use.
If every machine, then the first port of call is to check you have the latest SP, followed by ensuring that the model isn't getting just too big. Many a problem can be caused by working on a model that is just too big, with too many people accessing it at the same time.
If the one machine it is more likely to be a hardware fault (such as failing memory or HDD about to die on you) or a clash between PDMS and a particular piece of software or driver. Have you recently had a new machine? Has anything been done recently that is specific to the machine(s) that have the problem?
Unfortunately there is no one likely cause for this and it is pretty much a process of elimination until the problem goes away.
You are right the project is big and its a global project
We have lot of users working at HUB
but we are satellite we have only 2-3 users working on it
but i am they one who is getting these error
Do u want me to reinstall PDMS?
will it solve the problem ???
whether or not you reinstall PDMS is your call, personally I wouldn't at this stage.
however the fact that it is only your machine that is getting the error does suggest that the problem is related to either the specific installation of PDMS or the PC rather than PDMS in general.
I'd check that you are on the same version/SP/etc as known working machines first, then if that checks out I would then try swapping your machine out with another one to see if that resolves your problem.
Like I said there are many possibilities, most of them really beyond the scope of this forum, but PDMS on your machine would appear to be throwing a memory exception when you are attempting to produce a large report (or at least iterate over a large quantity of data to produce a report).
It could be a hardware memory fault. It could be another piece of software or driver that hasn't released a particular memory address that PDMS needs. It could be a basic incompatibility between the specific SP you are running and the specific version of Windows.
I really don't envy your position because computer detective work like this is a right pain.
some correction in previous reply
I tried to work on PDMS without mds application and it worked fine without any error
but when i loged with MDS.bat the .NET error followed me.
I tried the same procedure on other machine and the result was same the .NET error continued there
these conclude that there is something wrong with MDS application.
sorry to disturb you again but anyhow i need to solve the issue
today full day aveva rep was excessing my system but he too cant find the reason of error
now lets see what he replies tomorrow morning.
partially i will try to create the alpha log file
from your below mail i have already done few of the steps
firstly i have installed the latest fix from aveva website of the specific version
secondly created dice for all the database and forwarded to the aveva rep.
now only things to do are update the latest .NET that i will do tomorrow
i will post the DICE file tomorrow
one strange thing to tell you is whenever these error throws me out of PDMS and when i log in back at monitor module it shows me that many users
means if i log in to monitor module it shows me 14 users but we are just 2.
but if i log into admin module and check the user process for expunge only 2 are displayed over there
