    Hello,
we want to do an unattended upgrade of our PDMS software. In fact from 11.6-SP3.5 to 11.6-SP3.6.
We tried the  septup.exe -s , but it seems not to run.
Any idea if this feature is possible and/how to run it ?

Here are a few of the options available...

    setup.exe /v  /quiet...........Quiet mode, no user interaction
..................../passive.......Unattended mode - progress bar only
    ..................../q[n|b|r|f]...Sets user interface level
    .......................................n - No UI
    .......................................b - Basic UI
    .......................................r - Reduced UI
    .......................................f - Full UI (default)

Does this work?  If so, that's awesome!!!  I can always count on someone screwing what should be a simple install!    Very frustrating!

Just last week I sent out an email explaining how to see if you have the patch loaded or not, and I get someone calling me telling me that its trying to remove something!  Well, if they had read the first half of the email they would've seen that it was ALREADY loaded!

My idea is just to leave all setting as they are and more or less just hit automated next/next/netx etc...

No changes in the answers.  Is it otherwise possible to make a kind of answer file for this setup from Aveva ?

I tried the earlier given setup options in a DOS box, but every time PDMS comes with an userinterface and questions to press a button.
I tried it on the 11.6SP3.6 service pack

At our office, for some historic reasons, all cad-applications are installed on the local D: drive
That means i have to change the installation path during setup

That I understand, I thought you want to change ..\aveva\pdms11.6sp3 folder to sth else - which is what I recommend not to do...
