  • I think that I've found the solution for my problem, but first I would like to ask you, all, a question: is it normal to have dra-pens and dra-gen-system files on two places? One is under Programs-AVEVA etc. and another one is, almost like hidden, somewhere on the server? I'm asking this because I'm not responsible for the complete PDMS administration but only for Draft...

Yes, this is very important. There are levels on which PDMS gathers data. Elementary level is from PDMS installation folder. This is basic.

BUT! If in Evars.bat, you refer to the other PDMSDFLTS folder, then PDMS will gather config data from that location - this is why I asked you multiple times if you are sure that you are changing the correct DRA-PENS and DRA-GEN-SYSTEM file!

In my company we have such a setup - you get your default files in PDMS installation folder, but - because all users have to use the same config files, and you don't want to change basic PDMS installed files, the changed config files are placed on server, and Evars.bat relates to the server location and uses those config files!
