Dear All,
is there anyone have experience to insert strapping table tank to converse parameter in PI AF to volume like Liter, Barrels and Metric Ton?

You should be able to do that in AF with the Formula Data Reference. From a high level:
1) Create AFTable for your strapping table.
2) Create AF attributes for parameters you need to calculate volume, for example tank height, tank diameter, etc.
3) Create AF attributes with Formula Data Reference to calculate your volume and convert to proper units of measure that you need.
Hope this helps.
Hi, as alternative you can use the Sigmafine "Tank Volume from Gauge" data reference, that, among the several options, can manage the calculation from strapping tables and even generate one automatically for your tank.
Hi Benny,
As Stephen said,
- first of all you must have the hole strapping table
- one of your Element attribute PI tag with Level gauge
- and one attribute Gross Volume, for example, with Data Reference as Table Lookup
Hi Benny,
here is my example with conversion to tons.
1. I have a lot strapping tables in AF (in this form):

2. By Table Lookup from strapping table I catch Volume, L

3. Now I can calculate mass if you multiply that volume by the density (kg/m3)

Parameter C is Volume,m3 from radar, but you can skip this because i use this calculation only If an error occurs on the radar.

Dear Igor Greguric
Thank you very much for your guide. I have create internal table to store strapping table follow your steps and working well.
another question, if I have strapping table from SAP how to I connect directly from SAP table so table connection in PI AF can update regularly once SAP data changes? or I need to update manual in table PI AF
thank you for your guides
regards
Benny
You must install Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC) to PI server, and make connection to SAP.
After that, make linked table connection from AF to SAP.
Hello Everyone,
How about VCF calculation (reference temperature 15 °C) using API tables(54A, 54B, 54E etc.) for a particular product at observed temperature and density, Is this considered for the calculation of Gross Standard Volume and Net Standard Volume?
Are tank physics taken into considerations as well?
Appreciate if anyone can share this calculation done in PI AF.
